Pirmasenser Senioren, die mobil eingeschränkt sind, können alle 14 Tage einen kostenlosen Supermarkt-Fahrdienst in Anspruch nehmen. Die nächste Tour findet am Freitag, 29. Mai 2026, statt.
Das Angebot richtet sich an ältere Menschen aus dem gesamten Stadtgebiet und den sieben Ortsbezirken, die ihre Einkäufe noch selbständig erledigen können, jedoch keine Mitfahrgelegenheit oder Anspruch auf sogenannte Entlastungsleistungen der Pflegekasse haben.
Die Senioren werden nach vorheriger Anmeldung ab 13.30 Uhr an der eigenen Haustür abgeholt und zum Einkaufen in die Stadt gebracht. Angefahren werden aktuell die Wasgau-Filiale und der Drogeriemarkt DM in der Bitscherstraße sowie der Discounter Aldi in der Simterstraße. Nach den Erledigungen geht es wieder zurück. Der Mini-Van, Marke Ford, bietet Platz für sechs Passagiere zuzüglich Fahrer und einer Begleitperson.
